Best Yemeni Restaurant in Chicago

I was just passing by and decided to pull into the lot for takeout — best decision ever. Absolutely loved my lunch ! I tried the Lahm Mandi and it was incredible; the meat was juicy, tender, and full of flavor. I’ve honestly never had mandi like this before. I also ordered the Haneed, and it reminded me so much of the taste I used to get at Taaza Bakery near Devon, which says a lot. The portion size was very generous and totally worth it. Everything was cooked perfectly and felt authentic. Highly recommend for anyone craving real mandi!

A fantastic and underrated new Yemeni restaurant. The Chicken 65 Kabsa was outstanding — generous portions, tender chicken, and beautifully spiced rice with a satisfying kick. Their spiced tea was equally impressive. Great food paired with genuinely warm and welcoming service.

Was here for Chicken Haneeth, and Lamb Zurbian: Absolutely loved it! The lamb was incredibly tender and flavorful, cooked to perfection, while the Chicken Mandi was juicy with authentic smoky aroma. The rice was fragrant and perfectly spiced. A must-try for anyone who loves traditional Arabian cuisine.

Second visit and just as good as the first. The Fahsa was excellent—served hot in a traditional stone bowl with tender meat, rich broth, and perfectly balanced spices. Very authentic and comforting, especially with the fresh bread. Consistent quality and great flavor. Highly recommended.

Had the Yemani family platter for 4-5 ppl. All meat was very tasty but some of rice felt bit dry. Parking lot was a bit cramped. Overall it was a good experience definitely one of the best authentic yemani foods in Chicago.
